My name is Dave Berry and I’m the founder of I’m a Chemical/Biomedical Engineer & Scientist, as well as a musician and entrepreneur (to view my CV, click here).

I started this website after meeting my girlfriend, Chloe Temtchine, who has Pulmonary Hypertension. Ever since meeting her, I have become incredibly passionate about finding a cure for PH.

Through this blog I discuss what I’ve learned and continue to learn (as well as new ideas/theories) about the science of cardiopulmonary vascular diseases with a specific focus on how metabolism, immunology, and epigenetics come into play in PH. I also discuss the latest news in the field, as well as musings about nutrition and health/lifestyle choices.

It is my hope that this website and its content may somehow help in fostering creativity, innovation, knowledge, and awareness in the Pulmonary Hypertension community, and ultimately help bring the prospect of a finding cure one step closer to fruition…

This blog is meant to be both technical and non-technical: some posts are written for an audience of scientists/medical professionals, some posts are written for average readers without scientific backgrounds, and some posts are aimed at both groups. Ultimately, it is a blog for anyone interested in, or affected by, pulmonary disease.

FYI: This blog is not going to have a primary structure and/or chronological order. It is going to be an expression (synopsis) of what I learn as well as my thoughts regarding the literature, and any hypotheses I may have. It is very much a thought lab 🙂

NOTE: Nothing in this website is written or intended to be medical advice. I am not a doctor. I am merely a scientist with a passion for Pulmonary Hypertension.
